Oh man, that's horrible! My husband is a computer geek and luckily nothing like that was even thought of when naming our boys!
Poor kids!
this question comes to mind right now because i seem to be surrounded by pregnant women.
3 of the mom's in my sons' kindergarten class of 12 - are pregnant and in the other classes i notice a similar trend.
it's not a large school - maybe 60 kids max between the preschool and kindergarten.

i have a 3day one at that.
gotta love those gm holidays.
Hair from pets! That's a daily thing here! We have 2 big dogs and 4 cats that leave fur all over our house.
We will inevitably be working on our house one day and the other we will be spending at the new Ikea! Yippee! Swedish meatballs for everybody!

It's not a large school - maybe 60 kids max between the preschool and Kindergarten. But I counted 20 pregnant women one day and 10 new babies.
The latest new baby has been blessed with the name Cornelius. I kept thinking of planet of the apes......poor kid.
So I was wondering what is the most wierd or unique name you've encountered.

everyone knows you can't enjoy a good pint without a packet of crisps, but that's where the debate lies, what flavour do you choose, sure, ready salted is a good flavour you can't go wrong with, but really your tastebuds require something a little more, well, flavoured.
so what's your favourite crisp flavour?
personally i like tangy cheese dorito's they compliment a pint of fosters so well... .
I like a nice very cold Heinekin (sp) and salt and vinegar potato chips....Yummy!
today i bought the most expensive thing i have ever bought.
i bought a laptop computer for just under 500 - about $1000 i guess.
it was on 12 months interest free credit so technically its not mine.
Besides our house...Probably my truck. Then the birth of our 2nd son (The NICU and other crap that wasn't covered by my husbands crappy HMO)....and after that my laptop.

i can't think of many benefits of growing up a a dub but i do remember that i always viewed the other dub kids as brorthers and sisters and they became my support system amongst the "worldly people".
i remember going into a new neighhood or a new school and knowing that once i met the dub kids there, i would automatically have friends and i would not be alone.. this was especially comforting to me because i was an only child, and many times i entered into a new school not knowing anyone and sometimes being the only black kid in the class, my dub peers made me feel welcome and accepted me into the circle immediately.. for many years i feel special to be part of this worldwide brotherhood, and i am sure it is the reason why now i am inafriad of changes and/or new surroundings.. did you have similar experiences?.
I personally feel badly for any JW children - especially today.
It's Veterans Day here in America which means no school.
I know my nieces and nephews are out in service. That stinks...they should be home watching cartoons and enjoying the day!

in my area, in the last year, there has been six people killed in three separate accidents by someone over the age of 70. in two cases, the elderly people lived while the other drivers did not.
in one case the elderly person was killed, as well as the people they hit.
of the six people killed, two were children under the age of five.
I think at any age it should be taken away.
If you have repeated drunk driving arrests....gone.
If you have a medical condition that causes blackouts....gone
I know some old people who are great drivers...and young people who have almost killed people.
My mother is a horrible driver and she is just 53 years old....she has very poor vision. I think she shouldn't be able to drive now! My grandmother is a great driver....maybe she could drive my mom around! LOL!

never was a glass of wine so keenly anticipated as this one.. an hour ago i was sitting at the station waiting for a train and having my first cigarette of the last few days.
i don't usually smoke in public except in bars, but this was the end of a difficult and tiring week for me being my first week back at work and having hjad to do it all on crutches.. when all of a sudden some 60+ old nutter started yelling at me.
he said you don't know what you are doing to yourself- you will die horribly of cancer.
I think you deserve an award for not shoving one of your crutches up his "a**"
You poor thing....I would have started yelling and shaking all at once. I hate people like this!

would you have an elderly parent live with you.
my inlaws drive me mad, we had my fil stay for 6 days a couple of weeks back and gee was i glad when he went back home!.
the problem is my mil is going in a home shes very ill and he is all alone, hes quite fit at the moment but he is 87 years and we live a couple of thousand miles away, id love to offer if the time came but i know in reality id hate it, especially as id be home with him all day while my husband was at work.
I will gladly take the title of "Selfish"..
As I said, I would take care of my parents because I love them and I am an only child.
But hubby's mom - no way. She has done nothing but be evil to me and my kids and cause trouble for us in everyway she can. Let someone at the KH take care of her...after all, she wouldn't even take care of her own mother. She had the KH people do it....so if its good enough for her mom...let it be good enough for her.
WG - of the don't judge me until you've spent a day with my mother in law class.
Let me just add...when I say our friends very publicly disassociated. This is what they did.
After all the "Friends" helped them build their house for super cheap and gave free labor...They sent a letter of disassociation. Then they decorated the house with Christmas decorations inside and out..They didn't tell anyone of these same friends and sat in the hall for the DA announcement - got up and walked out.
I personally didn't think it was very nice or honorable. Not what I would have done...but who am I to judge.
These people have always been kind and loving to me and my kids and husband.
